FERROFOS 8428

Biodegradable hardness stabilizer and corrosion inhibitor for industrial water treatment in sterilizers and pasteurizers. It has a dispersing and emulsifying effect that can be used in pasteurization and sterilization systems. Ferrofos 8428 prevents the formation of hardness as well as the deposition of fat in sterilizers, pasteurizers and canners, especially in critical cases. Ferrofos 8428 is used in a pH range of 6.0 to 9.0. Features:

• Appearance of yellowish clear liquid.
• pH (1% in solution) 8.8±0.3.
• Density (20 ºC) 1.09±0.03 g/cm3.
• Viscosity (Brookfield, Sp 1, 100 UPM, 20 ºC 3±2 mPa/s.
• Sensitivity to cold From 0 ºC.
• Thermal Stability 150 ºC wall temperature.
